18 Month Stats!

Carter had his 18 months well-check Tuesday and I am very happy to say that he is a healthy boy :). Carter did pretty good while we were waiting but it is really interesting how shy he can be...he was very unsure of getting down and playing at the doctor's office. He just wanted me to hold and cuddle him - say what!? Once we showed him the toys he was happy to play get on the floor and play with them. And I know if Addison was there leading the way he would have confidently followed her (she is NOT shy!).

Carter was very well-behaved while the doctor checked him over and sat very still as the doctor listened to his heart and looked in his ears and mouth. Dr. Omar said Carter had a great smile :). Carter did fairly well with his shots...as good as a kid being slammed with two needles can be. He cried a lot and needed to be cuddled afterwards but got over it quickly after the nurse gave him a Tow Mater sticker. After we got home he would stop every so often and left his shorts to show me his "owie." I love that little man!

• Weight: 22 pounds 15 ounces - 11th percentile
• Height: 31 3/4 inches (2 ft 8 inches) - 29th percentile
• Head Circumference: 47 1/2 centimeters - 39th percentile
