Update on us...

Not too much going on here...we had a wonderful weekend! It was gorgeous here and we took advantage with many walks, golf and Bark in the Park! Sunday, Matt, my dad, Katie and Ryan went golfing while my mom, Jo and I hung out with the babies. For dinner we went to the Club for pasta night and helped Matt's folks celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary!!! After dinner we grabbed Hayden, Hank and Molly and headed down to Modern Woodman Park for Bark in the Park!!! It was kind of a last minute thing and we didn't get there until the 7th inning but it was a lot of fun watching the game, seeing all the dogs, and enjoying the view of the river. It was a beautiful night except for the Bandits lost...but my grandma was thrilled because that meant the Burlington Bees won :).

Other than that Carter is growing and learning new things everyday! He doing better eating his rice cereal and learning to open his mouth when the spoons comes at him...he actually smiled while eating tonight:). It was too cute! As if he was saying, "this isn't so bad mom." He is reaching for toys and recognizes his bottle. He is generally a happy guy and we love him so much!

Tomorrow is his 4 month check-up (yes, I am aware that we are almost a month late). I am really interested to see what his stats will be but not so excited that Carter man will be getting his shots especially because Matt may not be there and I will have to watch it all by myself, which is SO SAD! Hopefully the shots will go as quickly as last time and Carter handles them just as well. Update with his stats tomorrow...
