15 Month Stats!

Carter went in for his 15 month well visit yesterday. And after having to wake him up for his nap, waiting an hour to be seen and three shots to the leg we finally have his stats!

• Weight: 21 pounds 13 ounces - 12th percentile
• Height: 31 inches - 41st percentile
• Head Circumference: 47 centimeters - 41st percentile

So he is looking good! He has been fighting a virus all week that caused the WORST case of diaper rash  I have ever seen! It.was.awful. Carter screamed for an hour Tuesday night and wouldn't even let us touch his bottom it was so sore. Luckily, Dr. Omar gave us a prescription for Magic Butt Cream (yes, that is it's real name) and things are looking better. Whew! Oh, and Matt said he had to go "John Q" on the pharmacy tech to get he pharmacist to mix Carter's cream. :)

After the doctor we went downtown to run the Jr. Bix and Carter was not happy. After waiting at the start for 15 minutes I thought Carter would be all over running down to the finish. Not.so.much. Addison, on the other hand, was all over it! She started off great and would have won if she hadn't been so distracted by the balloons at the finish line :). She even made the cover of the Jr. Bix sectionof the QC Times!! Way to go Addison! (she is the little peanut on the right hand side)

Despite the crowds and Carter's race meltdown we had a really good time! Can't wait for next year! And note to me, don't schedule Carter's doctor's appointment for the same day as Jr. Bix :).
