That this past week, Isla started getting teeth!! She has been a little more crabby and a lot more drooly but so far hasn't been too bad (crossing fingers that continues). And she isn't getting her two bottom teeth first like most babies do...she is getting her top toof-ers! This milestone is always a little hard for me because when babies get teeth it completely changes their look especially those top teeth! But Isla is 10 months old already so she should really be getting teeth ~ Carter had 5 or 6 teeth by the time he was her age!
Isla isn't being swaddled for bed anymore! This isn't something I consciously wanted to break her of but just kind of happened organically because...Isla loves to play with her hair when she gets tired. She just started doing this and it is oh so cute! Love her!
Carter:
Carter is really into babies lately. I think it is because we have been reading a Shark book that talks about how sharks are mammals and give birth to their babies instead of laying eggs. Now he asks about every animal and whether it lays eggs or not....just last night he asked me, 'mom, do dinosaurs lay eggs?' So random.
He also likes to put Mr. Pig (or another lovey) under his shirt and say he is going to have a baby because he is a mammal. Then he goes to the {pretend} hospital and has his {pretend} baby. Oh Carter, you are so silly!
He is still obsessed with all of his loveys and has to pick one to bring to Papa Dave's house in the morning and he knows that it can't be Mr. Pig. That's mommy's rule since I really don't want him to get lost :). He also found a dinosaur stuffed animal at my mom's house that had to come home with us. Now we have Dina (he is a boy) at our house.
