Now most of the toys are my mom's house are gender neutral but she does have some traditional "boy" and traditional "girl" toys. Even though she has pulled some cars out these past couple of months for awhile the girl toys outnumbered the boy toys (mostly because Addison was more into toys than Carter).
Anyway, so Carter had to make do with the toys at his disposal and my mom has A LOT of toys. But his all-time favorite toy for the past several months has been....
A SINGING TEAPOT!! (and did I mention that it is pink!)
He is really too cute with it. He smiles any time the Teapot starts singing - even if he is in the middle of throwing a fit! He really enjoys having tea parties with Addison but is content having a party by himself. He likes the pouring sound the teapot makes when he tips it over and happily opens and closes the teapot's lid. It just makes him so happy! And my mom claims it is the best $10 she has ever spent :).
Matt doesn't love the fact that his son enjoys playing with a singing teapot so he often tries to distract him with cars and trucks, which he also likes to play with, but for right now nothing makes him smiles like his little teapot :). So Sweet!!
