Here's what you've been up to:
- You are a daredevil. You have been trying to slide off our bed and the couch by yourself. Luckily, Addison showed you how to slide on your tummy feet first, which is a lot safer than how you've been trying - on your tummy HEAD first!
- You've learned a lot of things from Addison - some good and some not.so.good.
- Like she taught you how to get into Grandma Judy's cupboards and pull everything out.
- She taught you how to brush your hair, "so big" (hands up in the air) and "oh no!" (hands on head).
- You love baths! You love to watch the tub fill up and do a cute little dance while waiting to get in. You even help mama undress you. You have tried to put your whole face in the water - like I said daredevil!
- You are so busy and.do.not.stop.even.for.a.second. But it is so fun to watch you explore the world around you.
- You talk all the time now! You can make the sounds for "dad," "duck," and "dog." To be fair, they all sound similar with the "da" sound but yet are distinctly different. You have said "ma ma," "na na" (banana) and you started saying "nom nom" for food.
- You can transfer from one object to the next while standing
- You have the best laugh! And you laugh all the time. Sometimes it is just a little giggle and others it is a full on belly laugh!
- You have gotten a temper! You are still a sweet little boy but now will definitely protest when you don't like something usually by screaming. Mom is not a fan.
- You can stand up on your own but don't trust yourself to do it. You have stood the longest when you were distracted by something else.
- You took your first steps!! Although, now you won't even stand when we try to "make" you walk
- You started blowing raspberries again
- You are a bottomless pit!! You eat all.day.long. and will pretty much try anything. So far, the only thing you don't like are strawberries
- When you are being sneaky you scrunch up your nose and smile:)
- You started becoming interested in books even though sometimes you "read" them upside down
- For the past several months you have "played ball" while crawling. You push an object away from you and then crawl towards it. Rinse and repeat!
- You learned how to tip back you bottle or sippy cup so you can drink sitting up
