- Friday, July 1st - I took the day off to extend my holiday weekend :). We went to the pool in the morning and relaxed in the afternoon.
- Saturday, July 2nd - Matt worked in the morning (boo!) so I took Carter Man to child watch while I went to bootcamp. We relaxed in the afternoon before heading to our friend's house for the UFC fights. Carter got to hang out with his best friend Gavin, which is always a good time. :)
- Sunday, July 3rd - we brought out my parent's 'big' pool, which is far more age appropriate for the kid this year than it was last year. Carter and Addison loved it! Also, my aunt and uncle brought up their two granddaughters, Serenity and Chloe. They both are around Carter's age at 23 months and 14 months old.
- Monday, July 4th - we all packed up and went to the parade! We learned our lesson from last year and my mom and Matt graciously offered to go to the parade early to save our seats. As the kids and the rest of the gang went to the parade about ten minutes before it started. The kids had a great time and Carter loved picking up the candy! In fact, he wouldn't leave any piece behind :).
- After nap, Carter did some more swimming and then played until the fireworks. We ended up taking him home for a litte bit before the fireworks started because he was getting tired and fell like 5 times in my parent's driveway. He literally had 5 Cars band aids on his legs :(.
- We walked up by the high school to watch the fireworks. Carter and Addison loved running up and down the hill (just like last year!). The fireworks display was ok. It was kinda boring but the finale was AMAZING!
