Weeks 11 & 12!

Isla is 12 weeks old today!! The bad news with this milestone is that I go back to work tomorrow (Boo!). But! The amazing thing about this milestone is that the hardest 3 months (in my opinion) are passed and the really fun stages are ahead! Isla is getting such a cute personality! She is really happy right after eating and loves to be talked to. She is still rocking her mowhawk even thought she is losing her hair. Everybody comments on her hair and I love that! It is definitely her signature 'look'...for now at least :). Other notables:

• She cheered on big bro Carter and cousin Addison at the Moonlight Chase
• She met and got to hang out with her BFFs :) Marissa is 6 days older than Isla and Evelyn is 6 weeks younger

• She is cooing and talking and blowing bubbles
• She rolls both the her right and left sides but not onto her stomach quite yet
• She really likes to swim and kicks her legs in the water
• Even though she loves to swim, she hates her bath! I think mostly because she has to get a bath before eating
• She is getting more in the groove with her routine. She does great at night but naps are still a work in progress
• She gets really crabtastic if she getting tired. She has a really short window when she needs to go to bed or will be completely inconsolable
• She watched her Coach Cory (aka the Godfather :) ) and the North Wildcats win a playoff game against PV!!
