Dad's Birthday Weekend!

We continued my Dad's 60th birthday celebration into this weekend. First, Friday night we (adults only!) went out to DCC for their Member Appreciation event. Free appetizers and free drinks! My mom literally got drunk off of two glasses of wine and I was buzzed after one small glass of vodka lemonade, which was mostly straight up vodka :).

After about an hour, we headed to dinner at the Faithful Pilot (birthday boy's choice). We had a great time eating, talking and making fun of my mom's drunkenness :).

On Saturday, Katie, Ryan, Cory, Jo, my dad, and I were Iowa City bound as we went to cheer on the Hawks under the lights!

Yeah...so the game was not so great but we did have a great surprise! We put a birthday message up for my dad in the 2nd quarter. He was really surprised even though Cory had to nudge him to get him to look because he was checking something on his phone...
