Weekend Wrap Up!

Matt thought it was about time to give everyone our weekend wrap up! Friday night was fairly uneventful and rainy so Matt and I stayed home with Carter Man and Hayden and watched many episodes of Criminal Minds.

The fun started Saturday afternoon! Katie, Addison, Matt, Carter, Hayden and I walked up to Bettendorf's Halloween parade. It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed the parade however; Hayden did not like the horses :).

The picture below is from Dog-o-ween at South Park mall a couple weekends ago (10/17). It was lame so I didn't think it was worth mentioning...

Worth mentioning however was my dad's birthday! We celebrated with dinner at Johnny's! Happy Birthday Dad!

Okay, back to this past weekend...Saturday night we all gathered at the Meyer household for the Iowa vs. Michigan State Game! And oh what a game!! Carter ended up crying the last few minutes because of all the yelling at the TV. To be honest, before the last play I felt like crying too! After the game, we were wired and went over to our friends' house to watch the UFC Fights! How 'Bout Them Hawks!

Sunday morning Matt and I had a breakfast date at Symposium. The food was delicious, Carter was very well-behaved and actually slept on the booth seat and best of all they were replaying the Iowa game from the night before!! After breakfast, we went to Matt's folks house to carve our pumpkins. It was such a nice day and fun was had by all!

We had a very fun weekend and this weekend promises to by the same. My friend Megan is coming into town from DC on Thursday, Iowa Game, Ava & Liam's birthday party, and Trick-or-Treating on Saturday, and Baby Girl Donnelly's baby shower on Sunday. Very exciting!
