Can we have a moment of silence, please?
Having Lisa in town after such a depressing game certainly brightened my day! While I was gone Carter and Lisa got re-acquainted (last time she saw Mr. Man was the end of May!). And after the initial meeting, Carter cried, he warmed right up to her. We spent the rest of the week eating, hanging out, eating, visiting, eating, laughing at Carter, eating...well, you get the idea!
We all had a great time and Lisa stayed at our house so she and Hayden were buddies :). Seriously, Hayden followed Lisa around everywhere, lounged with her on the couch, and waited for her in the hall when she was showering - silly Hayden! Matt even took Monday through Wednesday off of work to spend time with Lisa and his family but with Lisa being an early-riser (think 6 am!) sleeping-in was not part of his vacation agenda - ha! :).
Below are some highlights of her visit:
- Aunt Lisa got to feed Carter Man his cereal
- Carter having a huge blow out at Olive Garden and mom forgetting to pack him extra clothes so he finished dinner in a shirt and diaper :)
- Aunt Lisa taking Hayden on many walks thanks to the nice weather!
- $4 martinis at Symposium - right Lisa?!
- Setting up Skype!
- Aunt Lisa filling our tummies with her rendition of TGI Friday's ultimate burger - YUM!
- Watching Grandpa Dave play with his new "toy" - the I Mac!
- LOTS OF RELAXATION!!!
