A Little Bit of This ~ A Little Bit of That...

It was another great weekend for the Hatz Family! Carter has been fighting, the second cold in this life, for the past week. He has been pretty happy but really snotty (literally! oh the boogers). But his mostly had a smile on his face unless of course I am using the dreaded snot sucker! (the blue bulb thingy - moms know what I am talking about) Friday night was nothing special - we went out to Los Agaves with the Tiemeier clan and just hung around the house.

Saturday morning Matt worked while I looked after Carter Man - although he did not do me any favors by getting up early and only napping for a half an hour. Of course we watched the Hawks win and Matt finished up yard work for the year! Saturday night was UFC 106 and Carter had a play date with his best, good friend Gavin and Matt had a play date with his best, good friend Jon-Michael :). As always it was a great time - thanks Graham Family!

Sunday was gorgeous weather especially for November so we took a walk with my mom, Katie and Addison. We stopped to swing at Sheck Park and Carter even went down the BIG slide (with my mom of course!) Carter also met my cousins Jon, Jen and Baby T - who currently resides in Jen's belly :). We are getting ready for Carter's first Thanksgiving and Christmas with Mark and Grete (we are celebrating over Thanksgiving this year!). I am excited for the two-day work week!!

Carter Man Updates! He is getting more and more active. He continues to love banging on things and practicing standing up. He also is getting very close to crawling! He gets up on all fours and rocks and just today learned to go from the all fours position to a seated position! Only a matter of time before our lives will change - again.

His teeth count is now at four as his top teeth have popped through. And it appears Carter does have some of my genes as the Tiemeier split is now apparent - sorry for ya Mr. Man! He has started to have a little bit of stranger danger and can get clingy especially when he is tired, which makes things difficult in the morning when he cries the second we leave the room. But other times he is completely content playing by himself so it really just depends on his mood!

Thanksgiving promises to be very busy, exciting and full of food so I will update later this week! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
