Sick Boy!

The weekend was pretty uneventful as we had a sick little boy on our hands :(. Friday night Carter seemed fine but he slept in until 9 o'clock Saturday morning, which never happens! He seemed okay playing a little bit before we took him to Grandma Hatz's house.

She was watching him because Matt and I attended a new members class at St. James Lutheran Church! Yah! We finally have a church that we love and now Carter Man can get baptized!

Anyway, Carter slept for two hours while we were gone! After sleeping 12 1/2 hours the night before I knew something wasn't right. He was a little warm but didn't have a fever...yet. He was just the saddest thing. My normally happy go lucky man was just lethargic and whiney. Any time he would fall on his bottom he would cry. If his toy fell off the table he would cry...all.day.long. After his 2 hour afternoon nap he was burning up!! Temp of 101.9 and a lot of congestion.

We had to cancel our Saturday night plans :( but we needed to stay home with our sick boy. Sunday was much of the same with his temp spiking at 102.9! Our poor baby! He perked up a little before bed last night and this morning didn't have a fever so hopefully this bug is gone!
