Happy Halloween!!

We hope that everyone had a great and safe Halloween weekend!! We had fun but were very busy! Friday, I took the day off to hang out with my little pumpkin and we went to the library in the morning, had Subway for lunch and then went to my work for trick-or-treating!

Saturday was perfect, warm fall weather! So we took advantage by going for a walk and playing outside. Daddy took advantage as well by painting the foundation of our house :). While Carter napped, I watched the Hawks beat the Spartans!! What.a.game!

Sunday was Halloween! We trick-or-treated all day long. First we started at Boo at the Zoo. The zoo was expecting 4,000 guests yesterday so we decided to take and shuttle...so Carter and Addison got to go on their first school bus ride!! Carter collected candy, looked at the animals, sat in a firetruck and rode on the train! Carter missed lunch because he fell asleep on the way home nad continued to sleep the next three hours. Tired boy! When the kids woke up we dressed them back up in their costumes and went to trick-or-treat at Hy-Vee...Visited my grandma and then it was time for Bettendorf's trick-or-treat. We went around my parents block and the kids had a lot of fun. Although they tried to go in everyone's house :)....
